Where this applies: Tasmania (TAS).
Publicly funded alcohol and other drug (AOD) treatment services in Tasmania report against the national AODTS-NMDS, with funded community sector organisations providing data to the Tasmanian Department of Health. Australian Government funding is commissioned through Primary Health Tasmania, the state's Primary Health Network (PHN), which can set its own reporting and outcome requirements.
A 2025 review of withdrawal and residential rehabilitation services recommended a shared client information system and better recording of withdrawal episodes. The first implementation plan under the Tasmanian Drug Strategy also included introducing the ATOP outcome measure.
Mimaso is set up for Tasmanian AOD reporting. Your team records casework as usual, and Mimaso produces the return, flags missing or invalid fields as they are entered and checks the whole return before it is submitted.
