What is Mimaso?
Mimaso is client management and funder reporting software for health and welfare services in Australia and New Zealand. Staff record client, episode and service data once, as part of everyday casework, and Mimaso turns it into the national, state and funder reports you have to lodge.
Who is Mimaso built for?
Non-government and community services in alcohol and other drugs, mental health, homelessness, domestic and family violence, child and family services, justice, aged care, NDIS and community health. It suits specialist teams and multi-program organisations with several funders alike.
Which reports does Mimaso produce?
State minimum data sets (MDS), AODTS-NMDS, NIAA and PRIMHD, plus DEX and SCORE, the Specialist Homelessness Services Collection, Support at Home and CHSP. Funder-specific reports are configured to match each of your service agreements, so a reporting deadline becomes an export, not a scramble.
Does Mimaso cover every state and territory?
Yes. Mimaso covers every Australian state and territory and all eight AOD peak bodies, including NADA, VAADA, QNADA and WANADA, plus PRIMHD reporting for services in New Zealand.
How is client data protected, and who can see it?
Mimaso is ISO/IEC 27001 certified and independently audited. Access is role-based, so each worker sees only what their role needs, and data handling is aligned to the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles. Your data belongs to your organisation, with a full export available if you ever leave.
We use another system or spreadsheets. How hard is it to switch?
Your existing client records are mapped and imported during implementation, so your history comes with you and nobody re-enters years of data. The cutover is timed around your reporting periods, so there is no gap in your obligations.
What do implementation and training look like?
A guided setup. Mimaso is configured around your programs, sites and funding streams, your data is migrated, and your team is trained by people who know the sector, so staff are confident from the first day.
